“How I Wrote It” on CBC Books
CBC has been a great advocate for my work in recent years, as I have been of theirs! Our national public broadcaster gave me my television debut on their independent short-film program, Canadian Reflections, in 2014 for “expect something and nothing at once.” Two years later, this same program featured my second film, “SQUARE.” Seeing my work (and face) appear between commercial breaks was a thrill for me, an 80s-born kid raised on T.V. After making the shortlist for the 2015 CBC Literary Award for Poetry for “crow (v.),” CBC Books has kept up with my new work, and recently published a (very) condensed version of an interview I did with .
